- Mobile Integrated Health Paramedic
Description
The Grand Junction Fire Department is accepting applications for our
Mobile Integrated Health Paramedic program. In this role, you will
provide paramedicine services in the community and patient home
setting by delivering patient-centered assessment, education, care
coordination, and follow-up services under approved medical direction
and program protocols. This position collaborates with healthcare
providers and community partners to improve access to care, support
treatment plans, and reduce avoidable emergency department
utilization.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Possession of a valid National Registry Paramedic (NRP) and State of
Colorado Paramedic (EMT-P) certificate upon hire.
Possession of a valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certificate.
Possession of a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric
Education for Prehospital Providers (PEPP) certificate.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado driver’s license.
Must be able to distinguish red and green.
Must successfully complete a candidate level NFPA 1582 physical.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age at time of hire.
Possession of certification in National Incident Management System
(NIMS).
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Hazardous Materials
Awareness certificate.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Driver Operator certificate.
Possession of, or ability to obtain within ninety (90) days of hire,
International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) Community
Paramedic (CP-C) certification and State of Colorado Community
Paramedic (P-CP) endorsement.
Possession of, or ability to obtain within two (2) years of hire,
International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) Certified Critical
Care Paramedic (CCP-C) or Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C)
and/or State of Colorado Critical Care Paramedic (P-CC)
endorsement.
Experience and Training Guidelines:
Two (2) years of recent field experience in emergency medical
services including at least one (1) year of paramedic experience.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
